The Role: We’re looking for a creative and highly organised Graphic Designer to join the GAZMAN Product team at our Support Office in Malvern. In this role, you’ll play a key part in our in-house team, working closely with the Head of Product and Product Developers to produce garment illustrations and prepare polished, presentation-ready collection layouts. This position is available either four days per week or full-time (five days per week). Other responsibilities include: Design and execute placement graphics, and trims that elevate the brand and product Contribute to seasonal trend, print, colour mood boards as required Work closely with Product Developers and Garment Technicians to illustrate product & label details for tech packs About you: You will ideally have 1-2 years of experience in the apparel industry in a Graphic Design position Excellent illustration and graphic design capabilities Have a clear understanding of design details like topstitching, collar shapes and knitwear textures Have proficient working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Understand garment construction, trims, and fabrication textures Experience in creating yardage prints will be highly regarded Strong ability to work autonomously and think creatively to deliver thoughtful designs Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Be a collaborative team player with good communication skills Strong attention to detail At Austin Group we provide: Generous product allowance Free on-site parking 50% clothing discount off all of our brands (GAZMAN, Perri Cutten, & Cable) The opportunity to build your career with a successful, established and trusted Australian brand A friendly, motivating and rewarding team environment, where achievements are recognised A highly supportive management team Opportunities to attend fantastic social events through the year
